On April 07/09 I placed a $2000.+ order for kitchen cabinet doors & hardware, with a 3 week delivery time. On June 02/09 I received an e-mail saying, you have probably received your doors, the hardware is shipping tomorrow. On June 03/09 I received the doors & drawer fronts(minus 2 doors & 1 dwr. front & 1 the wrong size) plus 1 box of hinges. There was no packing slip or invoice. I phoned in and told them what I had received. She said they would put a rush on the missing pieces. After dozens of phone calls & dozens of unanswered messages & e-mails, I finally received the balance of my hardware on Aug. 14/09, but no missing doors & dwr. fronts. After dozens more phone calls, unanswered messages & several occasions when they said the missing pieces were on the way, I finally gave up. On Dec. 14/09 I sent an e-mail to them requesting a refund for the missing pieces & was having them made up locally. I also requested an invoice for my order, which I never did receive. On Dec. 29/09 I sent a registered letter to the owner of the business with a 6 page call by call diary of my correspondence with them. As of Feb. 22/10 I have not heard a word from anyone. It's not worth going to small claims court for a $100. refund. I don't know how the Custom Door Store stays in business if they treat all their customers this way.
