| THE PRELUDE:
An employee of Fresh and Clean cold called my office a while back offering apartment garage power cleaning and washing. THE HOOK: I looked into the company a bit and decided to go ahead and have 3 large garages power cleaned for my tenants. The job was supposed to take 3 days in total - One day at each site, i had to arrange for all the tenants to remove their cars out of the garage. THE JOB: Sweep the garage of all large debris first and remove off site so as not to back up my drains with debris once the power washing began. THE DAMAGE: The cleaning company spent two weeks at the three sites and hasn't finished nor been in touch since. The power washing clogged every possible drain with the amount of debris they left on the ground and shot down the drains. Lost a bunch of lids to drains at each site. Provided a huge inconvenience to my tenants. And left the garages looking worse then when they began! SUBSEQUENTLY: A second company had to come out and pump-out each catch basin and then power-flush all the lines,NOT A CHEAP EXERCISE, i am left with bills totaling over $20,000.00 just to fix the mess the cleaning company created. THE HUMOR: An employee was seen sleeping in his truck on the site while his partner was sweeping the garage by hand. Why? Because days before the two guys are on camera taking running starts from the back of the garage wall trying to push this huge sweeping machine up a ramp rather then backing a truck down the ramp and loading it up properly, needless to say they broke the machine due to it rolling back on them time after time. | ||
