| I'm just completely unimpressed with my initial visit to Bodyboomers.
They had a promotion on where you could bring in a canned good and get a month free. So I went in, with my can, and they told me it was over (the flyer that came to my house had NO date on it whatsoever). No problem, if it's over, it's over. I asked her if she could make an exception (no harm in trying, right?) She snorted back, "A month free for a can of food????" Nice, huh? So I asked her if there was anything we could do. By the way, the date was today, December 20th. She said she could give me a week free membership. I said I wouldn't be able to start until Thursday, so could it start on Thursday? She says, "Well, you came in today, so today's the first day." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Customer service my A$$. Her demeanor was absolute arrogance, and she made absolutely NO effort to get me to join her club. On the drive home, I thought, wow, she has NO customer service skills whatsoever! So I called back and cancelled the week membership. Don't know if it was the same girl but she chirped back happily, "OK!" Oh... my ... stars. Guess who will never set foot in there again? And guess who will tell ALL her friends the story? Uh huh. | ||
