| I recently travelled to the beautiful city of Toronto and followed a friends directions to take the 407 toll road. It was a great road with not the usual Toronto traffic. I was todl by my friend that I would get a bill for travelling this road but it would not be much.
About a month later I did in fact get a bill but it was for $19.00. I was charged for not having a transponder, for opening an account (something I never asked for) and the travel time on the road. I was not happy about this and tried calling the company and could not speak to anyone. I emailed them and got the normal canned responses from them telling me that I must pay it and if I don't they can put a lien on my house or add it to my licence fee. All in all it was very frustrating not being able to speak to anyone and I just paid the bill and swore never to drive that road again. It is great to have a toll road but as an out of towner travelling to Toronto I was outraged by this company Beware!!! | ||
