| I received a bill from 407ETR alleging an amount of over $225 owing for charges from 2001. Most are late fees and interest charges.
Upon calling to discuss this we were told that they will review the account if we paid 25% up-front. I said that they should review it first and then we could discuss this (although I thought bills this old weren't able to be claimed) and they said "no - its not our policy". I was told that I would likely get a refund as when they review the "old" bills I am only charged actual usage and not late charges nor interest. Simply my real usage was about $40! Furthermore they told me to produce proof of payment (8 years later) So I relunctantly paid the 25% ($56) and .... nothing. | ||
